Climate Change and WASH webinar series: Introduction for FSPs

The e-MFP WASH Action Group is delighted to kick off a series of webinars on Climate and WASH. In this first webinar, taking place on 5th October, Aqua for All hosts a session on financing climate-smart WASH which will include an introduction to Aqua for All's ambition to bridge the WASH financing gap. It will then provide background on the intersections between WASH, climate change and inclusion, to set the stage for our main topic: financing climate-smart WASH. The webinar will include case studies and short engagements with the audience for further insights and feedback.
Speakers
- Rachel Child, Climate Advisor to Aqua for All. Rachel has over 15 years' experience in climate change strategy and finance. Her work includes supporting clients design and implementing climate strategies; screening potential investments for climate risks and alignment with climate finance taxonomies; as well as design of monitoring regimes to track progress to climate goals.
Leandra Roller, Climate Strategy Advisor to Aqua for All. Leandra holds a Master's degree in Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) and has 6 years of experience in the WASH sector, ranging from research to project management and climate strategy development. Her main areas of expertise are sanitation, IWRM and the intersection between water and climate.
