Biodiversity is a key factor for Agriculture Finance. But it is threatened globally and lacks representation in credit decisions in general, which results in its further decline. To counteract this issue, the Microfinance for Ecosystem-based Adaptation (MEbA) project is launching a dedicated online platform to foster the inclusion of biodiversity considerations in agricultural lending decisions.

In partnership with BNP Paribas, the MEbA project, is offering Financial Service Providers located in Latin America and Subsaharan Africa the opportunity to access enhanced digital credit analysis, including dedicated Biodiversity indicators, for free.

The MEbA Biodiversity Platform is an online tool provided by YAPU Solutions that offers Financial Service Providers:
1. enhanced, digital analysis
2. the integration of climate and biodiversity risks into credit decisions
3. the basis to qualify for green credit lines
