Public Feedback round Green Index 3.0 & Dim 7 USSPM
The Green Index is the main tool for FSPs’ environmental performance assessment. It was developed in 2014 by the e-MFP Green Inclusive and Climate Smart Finance Action Group (GICSF-AG) and updated to the 2.0 version in 2016. This year the GICSF AG is updating the Green Index to Green Index 3.0 and SPTF, CERISE and e-MFP’s GICSF AG have joined forces to develop the Environmental Management Dimension (i.e. Dim 7) of the Universal Standards for Social Performance Management (USSPM).

On 7 July a webinar hosted by the European Microfinance Platform in partnership with FinDev Gateway explored findings from the survey. The Financial Inclusion Compass 2021 will be published in English, Spanish, and French, and we are pleased to kick off the launch with this English-language webinar.

e-MFP and SPTF collaborate on EU sustainable finance regulations
With the recent rapid growth of impact investing and the accompanying concerns over "green-washing" and "impact-washing," the European Commission has been working on a package of regulations to ensure that impact and sustainable finance investments are carried out within a standardized reporting framework. This includes, among others, the recently published Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) and associated publications.
