e-MFP Activity Report 2021 Out Now!
If 2020 was the most challenging year in e-MFP's history, 2021 comes a close second. This annual activity report provides a summary to our members of what we have been doing this year – from Covid-specific workstreams to Action Groups, publications and new communications models – and to put these activities in the context of what e-MFP has planned for the future, always ensuring that everything we do is responsive to the concerns, ideas and priorities of our members and the financial inclusion sector at large.

Call for Advisor - European Microfinance Award 2022
e-MFP is looking for an Advisor to support the European Microfinance Award 2022 which will focus on financial inclusion for women and its aim is to highlight financial inclusion initiatives that go beyond traditional outreach metrics and instead focus on women's needs, hopes and challenges - and respond accordingly. Deadline to apply is 13th December 2021.

The European Microfinance Platform is delighted to announce the publication of 'The First Wealth is Health', the latest in its annual series of publications that condense the themes and pull together the outstanding cases and factors for success from that year’s European Microfinance Award (EMA). For almost everyone in the world this year, health care has been at the forefront of their minds. Covid-19 has put all countries’ health care systems under a microscope, and one legacy of the pandemic will undoubtedly be a re-thinking of how all societies take care of their most vulnerable people. e-MFP’s online European Microfinance Week 2021 closes – with climate change, impact measurement, health care, and financial inclusion for women top of the sector’s agenda
European Microfinance Week (#EMW2021), online for the second consecutive year, concluded Friday with a plenary entitled Crisis and opportunity – where do we go from here?’ in which a panel of senior speakers representing different stakeholder groups looked back over the period of the pandemic and discussed what changes – better or worse – will endure.

GREEN INDEX 3.0: CURSOS DE FORMACIÓN Y RECOPILACIÓN DE DATOS PARA LOS PSF
El Grupo de Acción para las Finanzas Verdes Inclusivas y Climáticamente Inteligentes de la Plataforma Europea de las Microfinanzas (GICSF AG) está organizando cursos de formación en línea sobre el Green Index 3.0 para los proveedores de servicios financieros (PSF) interesados en saber más sobre la evaluación y la gestión del rendimiento de las finanzas verdes inclusivas. La formación incluirá la recopilación de datos sobre el rendimiento medioambiental de los PSF y se impartirá en tres idiomas (en inglés el 8 de noviembre, en español el 10 de noviembre y en francés el 12 de noviembre).

Le Groupe d'Action de l’e-MFP « Finance verte inclusive et intelligente face au climat » (GICSF AG) organise des formations en ligne sur le Green Index 3.0 pour les prestataires de services financiers (PSF) désireux d'en savoir plus sur l'évaluation et la gestion de la performance de la finance verte inclusive. La formation inclura la collecte de données sur la performance environnementale des PSF et se déroulera en trois langues (en anglais le 8 Nov, en espagnol le 10 novembre et en français le 12 novembre).

The training will include data gathering on FSPs environmental performance.

Pilot initiative: EMW2021 Training Days
e-MFP is pleased to announce the launch of the first EMW 2021 Training Days, conducted within the framework of European Microfinance Week 2021. Taking place on the 15th and 16th of November, this is an online training programme, hosted and convened by e-MFP, aiming to bring our members and other financial inclusion actors together to build capacity, reduce knowledge and skills gaps, and learn from some of the world's best training providers in the digital and financial inclusion sector.
