Workshop on Climate/Data smart finance and Energy finance organised by the e-MFP Green Inclusive & Climate Smart Finance Action Group during European Microfinance Week 2018. The workshop aimed to introduce participants to latest trends, innovations, tools, and understanding of topics surrounding green and climate finance for micro/small enterprises, households and smallholders. The workshop focued on: data smart lending and agri-finance for smallholders; energy access for poor households and micro enterprises, and indicators in green inclusive finance. It tackled the challenges and opportunities to gather and manage data to improve understanding and use information on clients risks and opportunities, in particular related to climate and energy dimensions.
