NFP World Food Day 2023, will take place on Thursday October 12th, in Amersfoort, the Netherlands and will bring together diverse perspectives, experiences, and expertise, and facilitate discussions on innovative approaches, partnerships, and business models that promote sustainable agriculture, responsible sourcing, and equitable value chains.
The Netherlands Food Partnership connects and supports initiatives by Dutch organisations and partners from Low and Middle Income Countries to achieve urgent changes that contribute to sustainable food systems and nutrition security, and reach SDG2 by 2030.

The session will highlight the role of inclusive finance (financial services providers, impact investors, NGOs, among others) in creating sustainable food systems. It will present the main challenges faced by financial organizations, as well as their approaches and efforts to safeguard access to quality and affordable food for vulnerable populations and to increase resilience of food systems.
