Founded in 2022, JuST Institute is a France-based, member-based non-profit social business. Its mission is to mainstream a just transition, focusing on finance for climate change adaptation and mitigation, biodiversity conservation, and socio-economic inclusion.

JuST Institute addresses the financing gap for climate resilience and biodiversity conservation, especially for SMEs, small-scale producers, and rural communities. It works at the first link of the financial value chain to support market creation and enable action by sector stakeholders. Services include analysis and certification, training and capacity building, structuring and implementing adapted financial products, and strategic and operational support. Its work bridges public and private sectors, and conventional and inclusive finance.

Its network spans 100+ inclusive financial service providers in 55+ countries across Latin America, Africa, Asia, and Europe. It has structured the first ten Inclusive and Sustainability-Linked Financing (ISLF+) investments, with over €100 million disbursed, delivered 15,000+ training hours, and launched the first global certificates on climate and biodiversity inclusive finance.

With long-standing ties to e-MFP’s Green Inclusive Finance Action Group, JuST Institute looks forward to collaborating with peers and growing its membership base.
