Face to Face with the Belgian Investment Company for Developing Countries (BIO)

e-MFP was delighted to welcome Joris Totté, CEO of BIO, to the House of Microfinance during his recent visit. The Belgian Investment Company for Developing Countries (BIO), a longstanding and highly valued member of e-MFP, has consistently demonstrated its commitment to responsible and inclusive finance, and this meeting offered an excellent opportunity to further strengthen collaboration.

Christoph Pausch, e-MFP’s Executive Secretary, hosted the exchange in what everyone agreed was a warm, open and inspiring atmosphere. Discussions were rich and forward-looking, exploring new potential fields of cooperation and reaffirming shared ambitions within the broader impact finance community.

We were also pleased to have Grégory Behin from BIO join the conversation, bringing additional expertise and energy to the table. His participation further enriched the dialogue and underscored BIO’s active engagement with both the e-MFP community and with Luxembourg.

This visit highlighted once again the strong relationship between our organizations, and we are enthusiastically looking forward to working even more closely together in the future.
