Over 220 participants from 60 countries across the inclusive finance ecosystem joined us to enhance their understanding of green inclusive finance and the Green Index 3.0 framework.
At e-MFP’s Green Inclusive and Climate Smart Action Group (GICSF-AG), one of our key goals is to empower stakeholders in the inclusive finance sector with the knowledge and tools they need to address environmental challenges effectively. That’s why we’re thrilled to share the success of our recent training series on the Green Index 3.0 standards.
What We Achieved Together:
Over 220 participants from 60 countries across the inclusive finance ecosystem joined us to enhance their understanding of green inclusive finance and the Green Index 3.0 framework. Delivered in English, Spanish, and French, the training was designed to equip participants with the know-how to integrate and assess green practices into financial institutions’ strategy and operations.
What Made This Training Special?
Tailored Content:
The series consisted of four dynamic online sessions in November and December 2024, each focused on one of the Green Index 3.0 standards. These sessions helped participants:
Gain a clear understanding of the GI 3.0 standards and related best practices.
Understand how to assess an institution’s environmental performances and identify actionable gaps for improvement
Share and discuss questions and experiences with experts and other participants.
Expert-Led Insights:
The training was led by GICSF-AG’s Lead Experts, Davide Forcella (JuST Institute) and Natalia Realpe Carrillo (Hedera Sustainable Solutions), with invaluable support from our IT partner, Hedera, led by Alfonso Caiazzo.
Comprehensive Training Materials:
After each training session, the participants received the presentation from the session including relevant resources and tools, as well as access to a dedicated digital tool to apply the acquired knowledge.
