Applications now open for €100,000 prize!
The Luxembourg Award For Inclusive Finance 2026, formerly known as the European Microfinance Award, ‘Unlocking Youth-Inclusive Finance' is now open and inviting applications from organisations active in financial inclusion that accompany young people as they navigate life’s key stages, helping them develop skills and seize the opportunities needed to build a prosperous future.
To learn more about the Award, eligibility criteria, the selection process and the benefits of taking part, please consult the Award Guidelines available on the Luxembourg Award For Inclusive Finance website.
e-MFP is organising an Application guidance session in English on the 25th March, 10h00 CET during which the e-MFP team will go over the Award process and reply to any questions that potential applicants may have. If you want to participate, please register here.

Le Prix du Luxembourg pour la Finance Inclusive 2026, anciennement connu sous le nom du Prix européen de la Microfinance, « Favoriser l'Inclusion Financière pour les Jeunes » est désormais ouvert aux organisations actives dans l’inclusion financière qui accompagnent les jeunes à travers les étapes clés de la vie, en les aidant à développer leurs compétences et à saisir les opportunités nécessaires pour bâtir un avenir prospère.
Pour plus d’informations sur le Prix, les critères d’éligibilité, le processus de sélection et les bénéfices découlant de la participation au concours, veuillez consulter les lignes directrices du Prix sur le site internet du Prix du Luxembourg pour la Finance Inclusive.
L'e-MFP organise une session d'orientation en français le 26 mars, 16h00, HEC au cours de laquelle l'équipe de l'e-MFP passera en revue le processus du Prix et répondra à toutes les questions que les candidats potentiels pourraient avoir. Si vous souhaitez participer, veuillez-vous inscrire ici.

Lanzamiento del Premio de Luxemburgo para las Finanzas Inclusivas 2026, anteriormente conocido como el Premio Europeo de las Microfinanzas, “Impulsando las Finanzas Inclusivas para la Juventud”, dirigido a las organizaciones activas en la inclusión financiera que acompañan a las y los jóvenes mientras atraviesan etapas clave de la vida, ayudándoles a desarrollar habilidades y aprovechar las oportunidades necesarias para construir un futuro próspero.

About the Luxembourg Award for Inclusive Finance
The Luxembourg Award for Inclusive Finance (LAIF), formerly the European Microfinance Award, is a prestigious annual €100,000 award, which attracts applications from financial service providers around the world that are innovating in a particular area of financial inclusion. The Award was launched in 2005 by the Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Defence, Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade (MFA), and is jointly organised by e-MFP, MFA and the Inclusive Finance Network Luxembourg (InFiNe.lu), in cooperation with the European Investment Bank. It serves two parallel goals: rewarding excellence, and collecting and disseminating the most relevant practices for replication by others.
