TruNord Technologies Ltd., a DIFC-based company and member of e-MFP, has been announced as one of the winners of the UNDP–Generali Insurance Innovation Challenge in Thailand.
The award was presented at the regional conference “Protecting the Future: Building MSME Resilience in Asia” held in Bangkok in November 2025.
This global challenge, jointly led by UNDP and Generali, recognises innovative solutions that strengthen the financial resilience of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). TruNord was selected for its scalable digital solution that embeds micro-health and life insurance directly into MSME workflows such as payroll systems, merchant networks, and gig-economy platforms—making insurance access seamless for business owners and employees alike.
As part of this recognition, TruNord will receive grant funding and technical assistance to deploy and scale its solution in Thailand in partnership with local insurance stakeholders.
“TruNord Technologies is aiming to make resilience effortless - helping small businesses understand their risks and secure the coverage they need to grow with confidence. With our local partner, CHAZ Insurance Brokers Ltd., we are committed to pushing the boundaries of MSME resilience, closing the protection gap, and empowering the backbone of Asia’s economy to thrive in a rapidly changing world.” - Deepak Barsay, CEO & Founder, TruNord Technologies.
