Organisation summary
Mission: 

The Participatory Microfinance Group for Africa (PAMIGA) aims at contributing to unlock the economic potential in rural Africa, by promoting the growth of existing financial intermediaries that serve rural households and entrepreneurs. To reach this goal, PAMIGA and its network FIs are experimenting with innovative approaches using technology, productive water and renewable energy products, as well as agricultural value chain financing. In parallel, PAMIGA will provide tailored technical assistance to strengthen Member FIs in their social, financial and environmental performance. Last, Pamiga will provide adapted funding to its member FIs to accompany their expansion and outreach.
