Mission: 

LuxFLAG is an independent and international labelling agency specially focused on the Responsible investment sector. The agency aims to promote the raising of capital for responsible investing sectors by awarding a recognizable label to eligible investment vehicles. Its objective is to reassure investors that the labelled investment fund invests most of its assets, directly or indirectly, in a responsible manner. Transparency nurtures the trust that is vital to the growth of the sustainable finance sector. In this context the labels play a fundamental role: to enable transparency and foster confidence.

The labels are dedicated to financial products and fall under two main categories: impact and sustainable transition labels. The granting of a LuxFLAG label means that a financial product such as an investment fund - and now an insurance product or a discretionary mandate - meets LuxFLAG’s criteria and that it “does what it says on the tin”.

LuxFLAG accompanies applicant funds and associate members in their sustainability journey. This is done mainly through the sustainable transition labels and the associate membership program; on the other hand, LuxFLAG promotes transparency by recognizing the ESG champions in the market and rewarding them through the award of the LuxFLAG impact labels.
