SPTF is pleased to invite you to a webinar that will share the findings so far from their joint project with UNHCR to develop guidelines for financial service providers seeking to provide microfinance to refugee populations. The guest speaker will be Lene Hansen, who has been leading this project.

This webinar will take place Thursday, December 10, 2015, from 9h30-11h00 (EST).

This webinar will be an interactive session during which you will be able to provide your insights and ask questions of Lene. For this reason, it is scheduled to last 90 minutes. To begin, Lene will share the results of her initial research on this topic. She will then detail the case study she is developing on Al Majmoua, an FSP in Lebanon that has been providing microfinance to refugees for years. Finally, Lene will discuss her preliminary ideas for the key issues that the guidelines document will address. As noted, there will be ample time for feedback and questions from webinar participants.
