The Lendwithcare team sits within the Fundraising, Communications and Partnerships (FPC) division of CARE UK, although Lendwithcare does both programmatic and fundraising work. Lendwithcare works directly with local partners (usually microfinance institutions) to deliver microfinance services in the countries we work.
The Microfinance Advisor will work with the Lendwithcare team to help raise interest and risk-free capital for our local partners, and work with our partners to develop strong social performance practices and affordable and appropriate products. Together with our local partners, we strive to improve the economic wellbeing and resilience of low income and marginalised communities (particularly women).
Lendwithcare is looking for someone who has experience working in the microfinance/financial inclusion space and is confident in assessing the financial and social performance of different types of microfinance providers. The successful candidate will have completed studies (or have related experience) in either international studies/development, microfinance/financial inclusion or women's economic empowerment.
The role is based on the UK and the successful applicant would need to have the right to work in the UK.
