The Frankfurt School of Finance & Management will offer in 2012 the following Summer Academies, each course is adjusted to participants' needs and professional backgrounds:

The brand new Micro & SME Banking Summer Academy (8 – 13 July) gives the opportunity to select your “hot topic” not only with regard to technical knowledge but also management excellence. Additionally the latest trends of micro- and SME banking and microinsurance will be discussed.
Mastercard Foundation Scholars Programme - the continued cooperation between MasterCard Foundation and Frankfurt Schools’ Micro Banking Summer Academies will allow participants of the Micro & SME Banking Summer Academy without sufficient funding to attend the Summer Academy by providing partial scholarships for tuition fee and travel costs.

The Sustainable Energy Finance Summer Academy will offer two courses in 2012 on financing clean energy investments. The first, having a broad international perspective will take place in Frankfurt (15 – 20 July) and the second with a special African focus - in Nairobi (21 – 26 October).

The well-established Housing Finance Summer Academy (22 – 27 July) will discuss the latest topics and trends in the sector. Focussing specifically on conveying practical knowledge and tools for successfully managing mortgage lending operations and developing approaches and products that meet the rising demand for housing finance.

The Microfinance Winter Academy (18 – 23 November) will take place in Cambodia in cooperation with ACLEDA Training Center. This course combines international best practices with practical real life examples of ACLEDA Bank following the motto of “Real Cases in Real Places”.
